A Special Interest Swatch Swap
This project is now closed. 33 papermakers have submitted their work.
Every participant made a copy of this book from a set of swatches
consisting of one swatch from each participant,
and a book file sent to them, designed and produced by Whiteleaf Paper.
I personally made 2 books from the extra sets of swatches
out of my own handmade paper of foraged fibers.
One book is a hand bound codex made from the file that all participants received.
The second book is an accordion book printed with a condensed and edited version of the text of the project book.
This book was conceived as a way to exhibit the foundational work of the project,
which was paper swatches and the information submitted to describe them.
Both books were sold, as a set, to a collector of rare books on the subject of paper.
